Theresia Fischer's poles were taken down.
Reality TV star Theresa Fischer underwent a series of painful surgeries to extend her legs by 14 centimeters a few years ago, a decision she now regrets. She recently shared a jubilant post: Her leg-lengthening rods have been extracted.
Theresa Fischer made waves on "Germany's Got Talent" in 2019 with her distinctive style and her cuddly buddy Herbert. She confessed in 2016 that she had her thighs elongated and followed up with a calf elongation in 2020 at the University Clinic in Freiburg. Now, the 32-year-old announced "Leg-lengthening Phase 3". This time, it wasn't about extending further, but finishing up from previous surgeries.
The TV personality posted a lengthy statement along with a picture of herself in a wheelchair, encased in multiple casts on her legs. "Great relief. I've been waiting for this day! It's THE DAY OF DAYS!", Theresa Fischer declared, looking back on her past decision to extend her legs for an ex-partner. "At the age of 24, I was dealing with severe depression. I just wanted to be loved - to finally feel like I belonged.", she reminisced. "At that time, anything could've been done to me", she admitted. She had been driven by the desire "to increase my leg length by 14(!) cm". The extensive pain she had endured for over eight years was "overwhelming (physically and emotionally), that I can't put it into words".
Now, she has successfully "expunged the last two percent of my past from my body". Fischer continued, "The leg-lengthening rods with screws have finally been removed from my calves - I still have emotional healing to do, but I now have the fortitude to heal." She had to spend two days in a wheelchair after the latest operation, but can now walk on crutches again. Through the "loving encouragement" of her present partner, she has also found "finally in my true strength and balance again".
"Toxic relationship"
Theresa Fischer rose to fame in 2019 through her appearance on the ProSeven reality show "Germany's Got Talent". Her symbolic live wedding with her 28-year-old partner drew attention, officiated by Heidi Klum (51). The real wedding took place in June 2019. In September 2022, Fischer shocked everyone by announcing the dissolution of the relationship, citing its toxic nature.
The blonde has made appearances in other formats beyond "GNTM": She joined "Celebrity Big Brother" and programs like "The Festivals of the Reality Stars" or "Pokerface - Not Laughing". In May 2022, she was a contestant on the Sat.1 reality show "Club of Good Vibes". She also dared to join the RTL+ original "Reality Queens" (2024). With her new partner Stefan Kleiser, she will appear in the fall in the show "The Star's Summer House", which will air on RTL and RTL+ in the fall.
