"Farmer seeks wife" - There's no sin in the forest
Penultimate round of"Bauer sucht Frau" (Monday, 8:15 pm on RTL, also via RTL+). This means that all the farm weeks must have been completed before the reunion show on Tuesday. For Dietrich-Max-Helmut (70), the process of getting to know each other has to happen in a rush. In the last episode, his lady-in-waiting Susanne (61) dumped him prematurely. She found his farm in Brandenburg too secluded and boring.
Late happy ending for Dietrich-Max-Helmut
Dietrich-Max-Helmut unceremoniously invites Marion (61) shortly before closing time. He had spurned her at the barn party. But Marion, who had already failed to make it past the barn party in another season of "Bauer sucht Frau", let out a "primal scream" of joy at the request.
DMH and Marion hit it off immediately. After their first joint work assignment with the animals, they walk back hand in hand. Later, they dance rock'n'roll in the stables. "This is the right place for you," says Marion, describing her impressions. By the end of the Blitz farm week, they can both imagine more. Marion is already talking about "growing old and gray" together.
Steffen and Kathrin: No kissing in the forest
In the last episode, Kathrin (39) gave Steffen (42) another chance to get out of the woods emotionally. But nothing comes of it. As with making sausages, the butcher and part-time farmer is in his element when it comes to harvesting potatoes. But "flirting isn't really his thing", is Kathrin's verdict after she has repeatedly waved fence posts at him to no avail.
During a break in the forest, Steffen sets up two chairs with a safe distance between them. "Romance isn't really my thing," he confesses later. Especially not when you're sweaty from working hard: "First comes the work and then the pleasure." He can't imagine making out in the forest: "You don't kiss while mucking out either." Kathrin finally pulls the ripcord and breaks off the farm week one day before the end ("it's no use").
End with horror for "soft" Timo
For poultry farmer Stefanie (41) and her Timo (37), all signs pointed to a happy ending after the last episode at the latest. After all, Timo had even got on well with Stefanie's little daughter.
But Stefanie didn't have any good news for Timo during their final discussion. He's "too soft" for her, the farmer says harshly. She has developed "no feelings". Timo didn't "pick her up" or "irritate" her, admits Stefanie later in a one-on-one interview.
Christoph (28) and Lisa (28) are at least on the same page at the end of their farm week, which was split into two parts due to their university exams. They get on well, but more in a "friendly way" (Christoph). The "magic" was missing (Christoph again). Lisa sees it the same way.
Apparent "chick" Valentina turns Daniel's head
With Daniel (26) and Valentina (21), however, the much-cited sparks fly. After work comes pleasure in the pool. Daniel massages Valentina and raves about her "beautiful shoulders". A kiss is in the air, but although the "attraction is immense", Daniel remains on the defensive.
Because Valentina is also rather "piano" when it comes to early physical displays of affection, they later stick to chaste kisses in a heart made of hay bales. But there are feelings for both of them. Although Daniel initially thought Valentina was a "chick", she turned his head "a thousand times over". Also because she was good at tackling things despite her first impression. Valentina also feels a "slight crush".
Reunion with André, Hans and their wives
This episode sees a reunion with two couples who have already ended their farm weeks with amorous results. Hans (65) and Elke (62) have been in a long-distance relationship for three months. For him, Elke is the "icing on the cake" in his life.
André (33) and Julia (29) have been together for two months. She continues to work from home in her job as a project manager and helps her farmer on the farm at weekends. Julia's shoe collection has also moved in with her, which is taking up all the space in André's cupboards. He promises an extension. She is already dreaming of the next pair: bridal shoes.
