Scarlett Johansson - Therefore, they protect their daughter from the Marvel films

American actress Scarlett Johansson (39) is widely known for her role as "Black Widow" in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, amassing millions of fans worldwide. However, her own daughter Rose Dorothy (8), born from her relationship with French journalist Romain Dauriac (42), is not one of them. Johansson revealed this in an interview with "People" magazine. Her daughter is too scared to watch the famous Marvel films featuring her mother.

"She likes it that I play 'Black Widow,' but she's too scared to see an 'Avengers' movie," Johansson admitted literally. Her daughter finds the superhero films of her mom "violent." However, her current film, the romantic drama-comedy "To the Moon," has captured her daughter's enthusiasm: "I think she's mostly excited about the hair and the makeup." Rose Dorothy is just "girlish." "It's just so funny," finds the Hollywood star.

Scarlett Johansson is a two-time mother

Johansson's daughter was born from her relationship with French journalist Romain Dauriac (42). Shortly after the birth of Rose Dorothy in 2014, the actress and the Frenchman married, but they separated roughly two years later. The divorce was finalized in September 2017 after a lengthy custody battle. Since May 2017, she has been in a relationship with American comedian Colin Jost (41), who even has a brief cameo in "To the Moon." The two married in October 2020 and welcomed their son Cosmo (2) in 2021. After her failed marriage to acting colleague Ryan Reynolds (47), Jost is Johansson's third husband.

The joint appearance in "To the Moon" was a pleasure for both Johansson and Jost, she added further. Normally, the two wouldn't work together. Her husband had written sketches for her appearance on "Saturday Night Live," but they had never had the opportunity to appear together anywhere before.

Scarlett Johansson's role as the Superhero 'Black Widow' in the Avengers series, under the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is celebrated globally.
