The voyage of Prince Harry is sparking up debates among the British populace

Last week, unexpectedly, Prince Harry made a crossing to the UK. His motivator? The funeral of his uncle, Lord Robert Fellowes, who had passed away at 82. The event took place in Norfolk, British. This sudden appearance of the 39-year-old prince left the media taken aback. Additionally, his presence at the funeral left a significant impression on the attendees, as reported by one guest.

Halfway through the previous week, Prince Harry embarked on a journey from the US to the UK. The occasion was the funeral of his uncle, Lord Robert Fellowes, who had passed away at the age of 82. With his tribute to his late relative, Prince Harry also managed to surprise those present, according to one of the around 300 attendees at the funeral service held at St. Mary's Church in Snettisham. The guest went on to share that you could "see that he was delighted to see everyone." His brother, Prince William, was also present, but the reportedly estranged siblings kept their distance throughout the service, no friendly moment or exchange of words was noted.

Having stepped back from his royal duties after marrying Duchess Meghan and relocating to Montecito, California in 2020, his presence at the funeral was a deeply emotional experience for the prince, the guest shared with People magazine. The prince appeared "content" to the onlooker, leaving others "surprised." However, there was no reported conversation between Harry and William.

The officiant was also surprised

The emotional moment occurred when Prince Harry took time to greet the siblings of his late mother, Princess Diana: Fellowes' widow Lady Jane Spencer, Diana's brother Charles Spencer, and her sister Lady Sarah McCorquodale.

Reverend Dan Tansey, who led the service for Lord Fellowes, was equally surprised to see both William and Harry at the memorial. "Only as I was escorting the congregation out did Prince William shake my hand, and then very quickly afterwards, Prince Harry," the clergyman revealed in a conversation with The Sun.

Meanwhile, People magazine claims to have discovered Prince Harry's accommodation during his visit to the UK. According to the magazine, he stayed with Charles Spencer at Althorp House - the Spencer family's ancestral seat and the childhood home of Princess Diana.

Good relations with the Spencer family

Althorp House has been under the ownership of the Spencer family since 1508 and is situated in Northamptonshire, England. The estate covers a sprawling 5,300 hectares. Charles Spencer, the late Earl Spencer's son, has been the proprietor and resident of the estate since his father's demise in 1992.

Harry is reportedly close to his late mother's family: his uncle Charles and aunt Jane supported him during a service held in his honor at St. Paul's Cathedral in London in May, while no members of the Royal Family were present. It remains unclear how long Harry stayed in the UK this time.

Prince Harry's unexpected return to the UK for his uncle's funeral was also a surprise to Reverend Dan Tansey, who officiated the service. During the event, Harry took the time to greet his late mother's siblings, strengthening his relationship with the Spencer family.
