TV tip - "The Voice" final: Good chances for Ronan Keating

Harmony, heartache and a few frictions: The 13th season of the music show"The Voice of Germany" has given the format a new lease of life. The five new coaches, who harmonize well with each other, have played the biggest part in this. On Friday (8.15 pm) it will now be decided who will win the live final.

Irish singer Ronan Keating (46, "When You Say Nothing At All"), who was able to save two talents for the final thanks to viewer voting in the last show, has the best chance: Rock rocker Egon Herrnleben (39) from Bamberg and Emely Myles (33), who lives in Switzerland and has no need to hide her voice from great music divas.

Bill and Tom Kaulitz (34) from Tokio Hotel, who still had five artists in their team in the semi-final, are sending Malou Lovis Kreyelkamp (24), probably the biggest favorite, to the final. The Cologne native with an extremely recognizable voice wowed the studio audience in Berlin last week.

Rapper Shirin David (28, "Lieben wir"), who was very likeable and empathetic throughout the season, also lost out recently. Her only talent Joy Esquivias (26) from Mannheim can score with great emotion.

Giovanni Zarrella is emotionally all there

The surprise of what was probably the best semi-final in the history of "Voice" was provided by cuddly singer Giovanni Zarrella (45, "Senza te"). Very few people had expected his contestant Desirey Sarpong Agyemang from Duisburg (20). Accordingly, the German-Italian shed many tears of joy after the show.

"I'm very concerned with the fates of the Talents. People always tell me to keep a little more distance, but I can't do that," Zarrella told the German Press Agency.

Before the start of the season in September, many fans had wondered about the unusual mix of coaches. They were completely replaced for the first time. But the calculation worked out.

Kaulitz twins squabble with Keating

The Kaulitz twins, who christened themselves "Team Toll", provided plenty of laughs, but also caused arguments with Keating, with whom they did not always see eye to eye. The Irishman did not hold back from criticizing some of the performances until the very end.

"When you get to this level, you have to be honest. I'm not going to sugarcoat anything. My criticism doesn't hurt anyone. It's always about things that can be improved," explained the 46-year-old, who will also be translated by an interpreter in the final.

The five finalists will present their own single on Friday and will also perform with a guest star, including James Blunt, Emeli Sandé, Nico Santos and Joy Denalane.
