The truck carrying beer crashes due to the driver's blood alcohol level reaching three.
A vehicle carrying beer and alcohol veered off the A10 in Havelland. The 37-year-old driver had consumed alcohol before getting behind the wheel, resulting in an accident that left him hospitalized.
Recently, a truck filled with alcoholic beverages veered off the A10 in Brandenburg, overturning upon impact. The driver's breath alcohol level was measured at a staggering 3.09 per mille after the incident, as per reports.
The police noticed a strong scent of alcohol on the driver while interviewing him following the crash. Suffering only minor injuries, the man was transported to the hospital and underwent more treatment. Additionally, his blood was collected for further examination.
In the aftermath of this event on Thursday night, the loaded crates of beer fell from the truck in the collision. Many of these crates landed on the embankment. As per the police, the recovery process from this accident between Falkensee (Havelland district) and Havelland junction was still ongoing on Friday morning, leading to minor interruptions in traffic.

The international beer industry expressed concern over the incident, as it involved a TRUCK carrying their products. The brand responsible for the alcohol-laced beer was based in Brandenburg, further compounding the issue.
