"Mon Chéri Barbara Day 2023" - The stars celebrate despite the snow chaos

Despite the onset of winter and traffic chaos, stars and starlets flocked to Munich on Monday evening (December 4) to celebrate "Mon Chéri Barbara Day" for the 15th time. Year after year, national and international celebrities come together for a good cause at the glamorous event, which this time had the motto "Happiness".

This time, the MaLisa Foundation, which Maria Furtwängler (57) set up with her daughter Elisabeth (31) in 2016 to campaign against violence against women and girls and for gender equality, was supported. "It's a great fortune to be able to do something like this in two generations," enthused the "Tatort" actress, who appeared in an elegant trouser suit all in beige. She then accepted the donation check on stage, which was presented to her by this year's lucky sponsor Adriana Lima (42).

Adriana Lima makes the Munich Christmas markets unsafe

The Brazilian supermodel was accompanied by her husband Andre Lemmers and appeared in a skintight, high-necked, floor-length cape dress in anthracite with a low-cut back. She was very grateful to support "this special foundation", she said on stage to presenter Frauke Ludowig (59), who was also hosting "Barbara Day" for the 15th time.

Lima also said that she was already in the Christmas spirit, loved snow and ice and had visited two Christmas markets in Munich with her husband: "We're celebrating Christmas at home in Los Angeles this year. When we get back, we'll decorate the Christmas tree. We're having a dinner with the family on New Year's Eve."

Ornella Muti, Sonya Kraus and Dr. Christine Theiss in Christmas fever

Other international guests on Monday evening included series star Mischa Barton (37), "Gossip Girl" actress Kelly Rutherford (55) and actress Ornella Muti (68). The latter revealed that she was lucky to be healthy and experience a lot of love within her family. However, Muti also associates the Christmas season with stress, as she admitted: "It's stressful. You have to rush, buy presents, it's crazy. It's fun for my children. But it's more stress than excitement."

Things are different for Sonya Kraus (50), who stood out in the evening with her glamorous feathered robe in lilac. "I was good enough to get the decorations out for the first Advent. It already looks like kitschy bling-bling, glitz and glamor in my house," said the presenter happily.

Actress Laura Osswald (41) was at the "Mon Chéri Barbara Tag" for the first time and had a beige evening dress with silver flower appliqués tailored by Lana Müller for the event. The Advent spirit is already in full swing at her home in Munich: "We have an Advent wreath and have already hung up some elves. My daughter made a Christmas bauble with a beach - she filled it with sand and shells, very cute. And next weekend I'm going to cut a Christmas tree with my brother."

Dr. Christine Theiss (43) had been lacking time until recently, but now she is ready for the contemplative pre-Christmas period. "I love Christmas. I love decorating the house. I love baking cookies. I love thinking about presents." For her, it doesn't mean stress, but anticipation. "The first thing I'm going to do tomorrow is pre-order a Christmas tree. I always get it just before the holidays."

Other star guests on Monday included Bruce Darnell (66), Larissa Marolt (31), Laura Karasek (41), Mareile Höppner (46), Marcel Remus (37), Alex Mariah Peter (26) and Nina Moghaddam (42).
