Football: What's going on in soccer? Here is your daily update. - The public prosecutor's office is investigating a fan-made video containing racist abuse.

A clip from Stuttgart has been spread on social media showing fans of Galatasaray Istanbul, a Turkish football club, yelling "Ausländer raus" (Foreigners out). Authorities are currently examining the case. According to a spokesperson from the public prosecutor's office, "We're looking into whether we have enough evidence for a criminal offense." Previously, various media outlets had shared the video.

The video, posted on X, features a massive crowd, many of whom are wearing Galatasaray jerseys. The recording includes several instances of the racist chant "Ausländer raus."

The public prosecutor's office initially didn't specify whether the video is criminal in nature.

Ayhan Yildiz, the chairman of the Galatasaray Sports and Fan Club e.V. Stuttgart, labeled the incident "embarrassing." He was present at Königstraße during the event. In Yildiz's opinion, the chants were likely caused by increasing tension between people with a migration background and those who have just recently settled in Germany. He believed some individuals were merely using such phrases online to gain attention.

Not too long ago, a video of people partying on Sylt sparked widespread outrage across the country. Partygoers were heard singing racist slogans set to a popular party tune.
