DJ Tomcraft is dead. The famous DJ and producer passed away on Monday at the age of only 49, as his family announced.

DJ Tomcraft is dead - The producer and DJ turned 49 years old

We are saddened to announce that our beloved father and husband, Thomas Bruckner, better known as DJ Tomcraft, passed away on July 15, 2024, as his family announced on his official Instagram channel. No cause of death was mentioned in the post. He was 49 years old.

His biggest hit "Loneliness" reached the top of the charts in England

"Heavily hearted, we have to tell you that yesterday, on July 15, 2024, our dear father and husband has passed away," the family statement reads. "We will carry you in our hearts forever and love you, until we are reunited."

DJ Tomcraft gained recognition in the mid-1990s. His first album, "This is No House," was released in 1995. His biggest hit "Loneliness" dates back to 2002 and made it to the top of the charts in the UK. In total, he released four albums in his lifetime. They all came out within a span of six years. According to "Mixmag," he performed at the legendary Berlin Loveparade in 2003 before 1.3 million people.

His friend and companion Westbam (59), another pioneer of electronic music in the 1990s, wrote on Instagram: "Our dear friend DJ Tomcraft passed away at the age of only 49. ... It's truly heart-wrenching. Rest in peace, brother."
