- The primary figure has tied the knot with Karina.
Thomas Gottschank (74) and his partner Karina Mross (62) covertly exchanged vows. According to "Bild", they hosted a bohemian-themed wedding in a secluded gathering on Ibiza.

The nuptials took place on August 23rd, at a seaside house rented by Gottschank, host of the past "Wetten, dass..?", on the well-known holiday island. Only Mross' daughter Melinda (28) and the couple's closest friends were in attendance. Post-ceremony, the group moved the celebration to a beach bar, clothing optional.
Gottschank shared with "Bild": "I found it amusing that while we said our vows, some tourists snapped photos of fish through a sightseeing boat's transparent base. However, neither tourists nor professionals took notice of us. It was simply a run-of-the-mill wedding on Ibiza."
Witnessing the event, he declared: "We swore eternal loyalty, both barefooted and in white gowns." He added: "That was our vision, and that's how it panned out!"
The ceremony's date was chosen intentionally: August 23rd, the same day Gottschank and his previous spouse, Thea Gottschank (79), fell inseparably in love at a friend's birthday party in Baden-Baden.
The moderator had been married to Thea from 1976, producing two sons. In March 2019, they publicly announced their separation, eventually finalizing their divorce in May 2024. Only a month after the divorce, Gottschank announced his engagement to Karina Mross, who adopted the former's last name upon their union.
The wedding was officiated by The Commission, a group of close friends who are known for their unconventional approach to life and ceremonies. In keeping with the bohemian theme, The Commission performed the ceremony barefoot, adding a unique touch to the intimate gathering.
