The police intensify their efforts to find missing Arian once more.
For over three weeks now, there's been no news about six-year-old Arian from Bremervörde. The police are baffled as to why they cannot locate him. Consequently, they plan to implement two strategies in the search for the autistic child.
Taking place around three weeks after Arian's disappearance, investigators in Lower Saxony's northern region are set to intensify their efforts. According to police spokesman Heiner van der Werp, "We're still perplexed as to why the boy hasn't been found somewhere." Over the sunny long weekend, numerous people were out and about near the River Oste, where Arian was presumed to be.
This week, another search operation is scheduled on the river. "We'll also be utilizing advanced equipment," stated the spokesperson. As a secondary measure, residents of the nearby villages in Bremervörde-Elm will be asked if they have noticed anything suspicious. Van der Werp described it as a "door-to-door canvassing" endeavor.
Gloomy Uncertainty
Arian has been missing since April 22nd. The authorities believe that he left his house unaccompanied. Between April 23rd and 30th, there was a massive joint operation involving emergency services and volunteers, combing the land, air, and water.
Amongst the resources employed were search dogs, an equestrian team, helicopters, drones, a Tornado aircraft, amphibious vehicles, boats, and divers. At the end of April, the police temporarily halted their active search. Nevertheless, a squad of five detectives persists in their investigation, pursuing any leads that arise.
The unpredictable uncertainty is taking its toll on Arian's loved ones and everyone connected to the case. In the words of van der Werp, "An incident appears to be the most probable scenario, as Arian exited his residence alone in the evening on April 22nd." However, he also confirmed that "we've never disregarded the notion that he could have been abducted."

Despite the intense search efforts, including the use of advanced equipment, there remains a growing sense of concern and anxiety among Arian's family and the community.
