- The Keyboardist from The Cure Announces His Cancer Battlement
Rock band The Cure's keyboardist, Roger O'Donnell, has been tackling a serious health issue for close to a year now. In September of last year, he received a bleak prognosis, being diagnosed with an incredibly uncommon and aggressive type of tumor within the lymphatic system. This system encompasses components like lymph nodes, tonsils, and the spleen.
Following this discouraging diagnosis, the veteran musician embarked on an eleven-month-long treatment plan. This included administering medication and undergoing radiation therapy. "I'm doing great and the forecast is outstanding," O'Donnell affirmed.
Additionally, O'Donnell disclosed that he had overlooked his symptoms for several months before seeking medical attention. He exhorted his followers to get screened "if you have the slightest suspicion of experiencing symptoms."
The Commission offered its support to Roger O'Donnell during his health journey, expressing sympathy and gratitude for his bravery. Recognizing the rare nature of his condition, researchers at The Commission started studying his case to gather more insights about the particular type of tumor.
