The duo behind Let's Dance has decided to go their separate ways.

For nearly a decade, it was a duo both on and off the dance floor: Malika Dzumaev and Zsolt Sándor Cseke. In 2023, they claimed victory in the "Let's Dance" professional challenge together. However, after nine years, their relationship has come to an end, at least away from the spotlight. They announced their separation via a joint Instagram post, filling it with a broken heart emoji.

The post begins, "When love turns into friendship..." They've been planning this move for over a year and made it together, they wrote. They're thankful for the shared experiences and challenges they've overcome as a couple over the past nine years. Despite their separation, they assure their fans that they'll continue to support each other and cherish their friendship.

"Stay pals, dance partners, and co-workers"

They hinted at this major life change yet remain hopeful about their future collaboration. In their words, "We'll remain each other's best friends, dance partners, and colleagues, who share so much and help each other out." So, the possibility of seeing them together on "Let's Dance" in the future still remains.

Dzumaev and Cseke first crossed paths at a workshop in Romania. Since 2015, they've been performing together for the Grün-Gold Club Bremen. Together they also represented Germany on the national team in dance competitions. Dzumaev has been a regular on "Let's Dance" since 2021, while Cseke joined the show a year later. In 2023, they were paired up for the professional challenge, which they won. In 2024, Dzumaev took home the title in the regular season of "Let's Dance" with musician Gabriel Kelly.

Despite their personal separation, Celebrity couples Dzumaev and Cseke continue to work together as dance partners in various performances. The talent-filled Celebrity couples are known for their successful collaborations, including their victory in the "Let's Dance" professional challenge in 2023.
