"The Bachelors" also starts in January
January 2024 should feel like Christmas for fans of reality TV shows. Not only does the jungle camp go on air this month, but "The Bachelors" will also be on the prowl for love. From January 19, roses will be handed out in a double pack.
"The Bachelor" becomes "The Bachelors": On January 17, two rose-hungry couples will start their search for true love for the first time. RTL has now announced the official start date for the 14th season. As usual, the new episodes will be shown on Wednesdays at 8.15 pm on free TV. The current episode can be viewed a week earlier on RTL+.
This time, the Rosenkavaliere Sebastian Klaus and Dennis Gries embark on a dating adventure together in South Africa. This is not the only innovation in the format: the blind dates are also starting in Germany for the first time. Here, the two men are allowed to choose their 22 candidates from 30 women who are allowed to come with them to South Africa.
The fact that they are now courting the candidates together is not a problem for either of them, as they reveal in the RTL interview. Sebastian Klaus even thinks: "It's a very, very big advantage that we have each other." This means they can always exchange ideas and support each other. Dennis Gries thinks that with so many women, there will certainly be "something for everyone".
Both have been single for a year
Sebastian Klaus comes from Hamburg and is a sales manager in the real estate industry. The 35-year-old is an absolute sports fan and goes to the gym every morning. He has been single for a year and dreams of a wife, two children and a house in the countryside. In addition to sport, Klaus also likes board games, brunch and going for walks.
Dennis Gries comes from Kempten. The 30-year-old is the owner of a fitness and wellness facility and start-up founder with a fitness machine. He loves ice hockey, wakeboarding and snowboarding. Gries always has a pack of corn waffles with him when he's out and about. Like Sebastian Klaus, he has been single for a year.
With the announcement of the start date of "The Bachelors", it is clear that it will be an eventful January for reality TV fans. After all, it is now also known when the jungle camp will start its 17th season. "Ich bin ein Star - Holt mich hier raus!" starts on January 19 on RTL - just two days after the dating show.
