The Bachelorette is marking her return by associating with Playboy.
Stella Stegmann, who was already celebrated as "Playmate of the Year" in 2020, has now taken on the role of the "Bachelorette" and is celebrating with another "Playboy" photoshoot. Even for someone who has graced the pages of "Playboy" before, being the first bisexual Bachelorette in the RTL series is a significant milestone.
Known for her stint in the Netflix show "Too Hot to Handle" last year, Stegmann is no stranger to the limelight. Becoming the new "Bachelorette" in the latest season, streaming exclusively on RTL+, is a significant career achievement for the 27-year-old. "I was really excited and very happy!" she shares in an interview for a "Playboy" special issue titled "The most beautiful 'Bachelorettes' & 'Bachelor' stars", which hits the stands on Thursday. And of course, she didn't just talk, she also posed once again for the occasion.
When asked about her enthusiasm for the role, Stegmann shares, "The 'Bachelorette' was the only format I could imagine. It's really a dream come true. I think the format is really beautiful and I've been a big fan for a long time."
Born and raised in Frankfurt, Stegmann brings a fresh perspective to the RTL show. "I'm the first bisexual Bachelorette, and I'm happy to serve as a role model," she explains why she will be dating both men and women. "I'm attracted to both genders, it just has to resonate with me," Stegmann admits.
Stegmann acknowledges the challenges that come with her prominent role in the show. "It's exciting to lead the show, and flirting is fun, of course! But making a selection is really not easy at all," she confesses. She also shares her struggles in convincing her family and friends to support her participation in the show. "My mom is already critical about my engagements. But she also said she's very proud. If I had gone into a complete trash format, it would probably be different," she admits.
Regarding her future plans, Stegmann expresses interest in participating in shows like "Ninja Warrior" or "Let's Dance". She also uses her Instagram platform to address serious topics and break taboos, such as bisexuality, which she believes needs more discussion.
In the interview, Stegmann also shares her experiences with different genders in dating. "I have much more experience with men, that's clearly my comfort zone. I know how to flirt or what to do in bed," she admits. "With women, it's new for me, and I'm learning to know myself again," she adds and confesses, "At first, I was completely overwhelmed with women."
She further explains, "Every woman is different, and what I like, the other woman might not. I even felt lost at times and thought, 'Okay, now I understand why men have trouble finding the clitoris, or why certain things feel weird.'"
Lastly, the "Playboy" special edition should be easy to find at your local newsstand. Among other things, it features a reunion with former "Bachelor" winners like Anja Polzer, Alissa Harouat, Katja Kühn, and Michelle Gwozdz.
In the "Playboy" special issue titled "The most beautiful 'Bachelorettes' & 'Bachelor' stars," Stella Stegmann discusses her role as the first bisexual Bachelorette in the RTL series, which is presented in a right-to-left (RTL) text format for Middle Eastern audiences. After becoming the new Bachelorette, Stegmann posed for another photoshoot in the "Playboy" magazine.
