Nina Dobrev (35), appearing on "The Talk", shared details of her injuries sustained during a dirt biking accident in May. "Tried dirt biking for the first time, didn't end well," said the "Vampire Diaries" actress. "I'd advise against it. Don't get on a dirt bike."
Dobrev shared that she lost control when she tried to ride with the front wheel raised off the ground. In a panic, she added too much throttle, causing the wheel to slip out from under her. "Fortunately, it didn't land on me, which would've been much worse, according to the doctor. But when I landed, I landed on one leg, and my knee just broke."
She underwent a knee operation. "I have a big brace on, can't walk alone yet." The actress mentioned that she had suffered a knee fracture and both the anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus were also injured. This was the first time she had left her house in weeks, said Dobrev.
Nina Dobrev is currently addicted to the series "Fargo". "I called my agents and said, 'I love it so much, I'm so obsessed with the series that I have to be in this show'," she confessed. However, her agents informed her that she had missed the boat for a role in "Fargo."
Nina Dobrev disclosed her serious e-bike accident in an Instagram post on May 20th. The post featured a photo of her beside a bike and another in a hospital bed. Captioning the post, she wrote "the journey from beginning to now". E-bikes have wide tires and are primarily used as sports equipment for jumps with the bike.
