In an Instagram story, the "Desperate Housewives" star shared a TikTok video in which the soon-to-be 86-year-old Fonda talks about having decided to "live consciously" at the age of 59. In the interview with the "Absolutely Not" podcast, Fonda said that she started to act more consciously back then. Thoughts like "I want to be better. I want to be a better person. I want her to know that I love her. I just want her to do the things you want to do so you don't regret them" have led to her being "pretty happy" in Fonda's life today.
Teri Hatcher is enthusiastic about this attitude and wrote about the video: "Pretty great advice to start my 59th year of life! Thank you Jane Fonda." The former "James Bond" girl shares the opinion of her older colleague to take another look at her own past at her age and to think about how she wants to spend the next few years.
In an Instagram story shared with People, Teri Hatcher also thanked her 26-year-old daughter Emerson Tenney for her birthday wishes. She shared a photo of herself holding Emerson as a child and wrote: "I don't feel 23 years older than when this photo was taken, but I am." It continued, "I've shared 26 years with this wonderful human and I'm so grateful for my experience as a mom and for being alive on this amazing planet," the "Superman" actress added. "I look forward to the years ahead, bringing the wisdom of age and creating the best I'm capable of every day."
