Teenage male admits to murdering a jogger close to Zurich.

The public prosecutor's office in Zurich has reported that a Swiss man, aged 19, has confessed to killing a jogger in a park near Lake Zurich recently. The prosecutor's office filed a request for pre-trial detention based on urgent suspicions.

The incident took place in the park of Männedorf, which lies about 20 kilometers southeast of Zurich. The suspect had stripped naked, shouted, and attacked multiple people in the area. No prior record of violent crimes had been reported for him.

The victim was a 35-year-old woman from Switzerland. According to initial findings, the perpetrator and victim were not acquainted. A 50-year old man was also injured in the altercation. The police have not provided any details yet regarding the circumstances of the crime or the motive behind the killer's actions.

The Männedorf council has decided to enhance the number of security patrols in the area following these events. While there hasn't been any known security concerns previously, the objective is to enhance the community's sense of security.
