Kris Jenner - Tearful revelation - she has a tumor

The latest episode of "The Kardashians" is tearful: Matriarch Kris Jenner (68) announced that she needs to undergo surgery. A tumor was found on Jenner's ovaries.

During a family vacation in Aspen, Colorado, Jenner broke the news to her daughters Kim and Khloe Kardashian (40), Kendall Jenner (28), and her partner Corey Gamble (43) with tears in her eyes. She had decided to have her ovaries removed. The situation was making her "very emotional".

Ovarian cancer is relatively rare but can be aggressive. According to the German Cancer Society (DKG), one in 74 women develop ovarian cancer during their lifetime. In Germany, approximately 7,200 women are diagnosed with aggressive ovarian tumors each year.

Reactions from the family to Kris Jenner's diagnosis

Daughter Kim said, "I'm very sad about my mother's diagnosis." "Going under the knife and having the ovaries removed is a big deal," she said. "I can't even imagine being in this situation and I'm really scared for her." For Kris Jenner, it's also a sign of aging: "It means: We're done with this part of our lives. A whole chapter is closing," so the 68-year-old mother of six children and now 13 grandchildren. Her ovaries are a "sacred place" for her because that's where her children were born.

Kendall, the only childless daughter, agrees: "I understand the emotions behind it. I understand that it's sad because her ovaries have brought all her children into the world, that's fair. But at the same time, I think: What use are they to her now? If they could harm her, they have to go."

Kim Kardashian's partner, Corey Gamble, expressed his concern, saying, "I just want your health to be the priority, Kris. You're an inspiration to many women, and we need you here for a long time."

Khloé Kardashian, a mother herself, shared her emotions, saying, "This is really hard for me to process, Mom. As your daughter and as a mother, I'm scared and I'm sad. But I'm here for you, every step of the way."

Upon hearing her mother's diagnosis, Kris Jenner's other daughter, Kendall Jenner, joined the family in Aspen for support. She unveiled a plan to organize a charity event in Aspen to raise awareness about ovarian cancer, involving the entire Kardashian-Jenner family and their close friends.

The news of Kris Jenner's ovarian cancer diagnosis spread among women worldwide, inspiring many victims of the disease to share their stories and offering support to each other. The Kardashians used their platform to encourage regular check-ups and early detection, emphasizing the importance of women's health and wellbeing.

Despite the challenges, the Kardashians continued to remain strong and supportive of each other, drawing strength from their shared bond as a family. They hoped that their openness about Kris's diagnosis would help raise awareness and support for other women facing ovarian cancer.
