A long-distance friendship, as Swift is currently touring Germany with her sold-out "The Eras Tour."
And Reynolds and Swift are good friends. His wife Blake Lively is even considered one of Swift's closest friends. Swift can therefore afford to make a joke at Reynolds' expense. She writes on Instagram that she's seen "how one of my best friends on this planet" has poured his whole heart and magic into this film. "Deadpool & Wolverine" feels like "a real portal of luck, a wild escape from reality," gushes the singer, who apparently found time between two Germany concerts to watch the Marvel film. She appeals to Swifties to buy tickets.
"I don't know how he did it. But he's just Hugh," Swift ends her ode and implies that she meant Hugh Jackman, Wolverine's actor, who is posing with her in the photo in her Story. The other people in the picture - Reynolds, Lively, and "Deadpool & Wolverine" director Shawn Levy - were just intruders who managed to get in the way: "We were too polite to shoo them away."
