Taylor Swift has world premiere in Munich

The last Germany concert of Taylor Swift's "The Eras" Tour attracts countless Swifties without tickets to the Munich Olympiaberg. The singer surprises her huge fanbase with a musical premiere.

Taylor Swift surprised her fans with a special musical treat at her second Munich show on July 28, which was also her last in Germany. During the "Secret Songs" part, she performed live for the first time the song "Don't You" from her album "Fearless (Taylor's Version)" as reported by "People".

The song "Don't You" was released in 2021 when Swift re-released her then 13-year-old second album "Fearless" and added new songs to it. The American superstar thus gave Swifties a very special highlight. The weather also played a part that evening: after heavy rain during the day, the clouds cleared, making way for Swift's performance.

Not only were 74,000 fans eagerly waiting in the Olympic Stadium: On the neighboring Olympiaberg, crowds had gathered once again, as they had on Saturday. Photos of the densely packed people on the hill went around the world - international media reported on "Taylmountain" and "Tayhill". Roughly 28,000 people are said to have watched the concert for free from there on Sunday evening, as reported by the "Süddeutsche Zeitung". An additional 12,000 people are said to have gathered on the adjacent grounds of the Olympic Park.

Swift herself acknowledged these guests from the fence at the beginning of her performance: "We're lucky to be able to play this show for 74,000 people in the stadium and, if reports are correct, 50,000 wonderful people outside the stadium."

Swift to return

Moreover, she expressed hope for a return to Germany: "We'll be back in a few years." Swift had emphasized in Munich on Saturday that "we can all agree that I don't come to Germany often enough."

In the context of her "The Eras" Tour, Taylor Swift had previously performed in Gelsenkirchen and Hamburg. In August, there are stops planned in Warsaw, Vienna, and London. After the end of her European concerts, she takes a short tour break. In October, it continues in Miami, New Orleans, Indianapolis, and Toronto.

Taylor Swift's surprise musical performance of "Don't You" from her album "Fearless (Taylor's Version)" during her Munich concert added another element of excitement to her already popular "The Eras" Tour, offering a unique entertainment experience for both ticketed and free-admitting fans on the Olympiaberg. The inclusion of this Pop music gem, originally released in 2021, became an unforgettable moment for Swifties in Munich.
