Currently, Taylor Swift is on her "Eras" tour across Europe, with thousands of fans flocking to her concerts. The 34-year-old's success story is set to continue in September when the MTV Video Music Awards are handed out. With ten nominations, she's once again leading the pack.

The nominees for the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) have been announced, and the hottest favorite to take home the awards, which will be held on September 10 in New York City, is Taylor Swift. The 34-year-old leads the list with a total of ten nominations, as officially announced on MTV.com.

Among other categories, Taylor Swift is nominated for "Artist of the Year" alongside her strongest competitor, Ariana Grande, who has been nominated six times in total. Swift is also the favorite in the "Video of the Year" category with her song "Fortnight" featuring Post Malone. With this song, the singer is also competing in the "Song of the Year" category, where she will face off against Beyoncé's "Texas Hold 'Em", among others. Other categories where Swift could be honored include "Best Visual Effects" and "Best Art Direction", where the video for "Fortnight" is also in the running.

Collaborative Song with Post Malone Also in the Running

With up to ten Moon Man trophies at the upcoming VMAs, the American could potentially top her winning streak from last year, with nine wins. Post Malone has earned nine nominations thanks to his collaboration on Swift's hit song "Fortnight". Sabrina Carpenter with her hit "Espresso", rapper Eminem with "Houdini", and Ariana Grande with "We Can't Be Friends" are each mentioned six times in the voting lists. Fans can now cast their votes for the musicians on the broadcaster's website.

Currently, Taylor Swift is still on her "The Eras" world tour. Last weekend, she was a guest in Warsaw, where climate activists accused the pop star of ignoring environmental issues on banners. Swift's fans probably won't care, even when she performs five times at London's Wembley Stadium from August 15 to 20, bringing her European tour to a close.

The nominations for Taylor Swift's song "Fortnight" featuring Post Malone include categories like "Video of the Year" and "Song of the Year" at the MTV Video Music Awards. Fans can now cast their votes for their favorite artists, including Swift and Post Malone, on the MTV website.
