Sylvie Meis admits to visiting the beauty-doc
A Dutch men's magazine recently crowned Sylvie Meis the "Sexy Queen of the Century." However, the 46-year-old no longer wants to fib about her striking looks.
Sylvie Meis had simply grown tired of lying. In an interview with the magazine "Bunte," the "Love Island" host is now speaking openly about how her stunning looks are not solely due to a "healthy lifestyle with sports and water," as she had previously claimed. That was her standard response whenever asked how she manages to look so youthful over 40, she reveals in the interview. Now, admitting that she occasionally visits a beauty doctor, she feels "liberated" and "relieved from the pressure."
In fact, Sylvie Meis combines a healthy diet, adequate water intake, and regular exercise with hyaluronic acid fillers. Her motto, however, is "less is more." While seeing immediate results after a beauty treatment does give her "a certain sense of happiness," she doesn't rush to the beauty doctor if she doesn't feel comfortable in her skin when looking in the mirror, as she emphasized in her conversation with "Bunte."
Being able to decide how she wants to age, rather than "just watching helplessly," feels like "a form of empowerment" to Meis: "Not just as a woman, but also in my career and life." To her, beauty means feeling "free and confident" in her appearance.
Timeless Beauty in a Men's Magazine
While inner values are, of course, most important, the predominantly male readers of the Dutch "FHM" magazine's June issue were likely more interested in Meis' curves when they crowned her "Queen of the Century." On the magazine's official website, the editors gushed that Meis, who first posed for "FHM" 20 years ago, has only become more beautiful with time.
Now, thanks to her own honesty, we know it's not just about a "healthy lifestyle with sports and water." In the end, it's all about the result.
Sylvie Meis acknowledged the importance of health and safety when discussing her beauty routine, stating, "I combine a healthy diet, adequate water intake, and regular exercise with hyaluronic acid fillers, but I believe in 'less is more.'" Additionally, she emphasized the need for self-care and personal comfort, mentioning, "I don't rush to the beauty doctor if I don't feel comfortable in my skin when looking in the mirror."
