Sweden's Victoria resurfaces in the armed forces again.

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden is currently enhancing her military abilities. She mentioned on Instagram, paired with an image of herself in camouflage attire, "Stoked to continue my military training at the Swedish Defense University today. I'll dive into tactics, military knowledge, and strategy along with the other cadets."

The King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden's daughter also shared this news with her 665,000 followers: "My focus now is on fully dedicating my energy towards officer training, in order to best serve Sweden and its armed forces in the future. I'm excited for an engaging and enriching learning experience with my new colleagues."

Piles of Study Materials and Examinations

Two more photos on Crown Princess Victoria's Instagram stories depict her amidst numerous young cadets in an auditorium while undergoing officer training. The Swedish Defense University, a military education center situated in Stockholm beside the Royal Institute of Technology, is where she's receiving this education.

Victoria had completed her basic military training in 2003. Now, she's receiving "specific officer training," as revealed by the royal palace spokesperson, Margareta Thorgren, to the magazine "Svensk Damtidning." "She's participating in the training with several hundred others. There'll be a lot of classroom instruction and routine exams," she added.

Due to her training, Victoria's official duties with the royal household will be temporarily reduced over the coming weeks and months. By February, she intends to conclude the first part of her training. Once she ascends to the throne, the 47-year-old will hold the highest rank in the armed forces. The present global political scenario might have also influenced her decision to further her military qualifications, as Sweden joined NATO following Russia's invasion of Ukraine in March 2024.

The monarchy in Sweden is showcasing its commitment to military service, as Crown Princess Victoria continues her officer training and expressed her enthusiasm for the academic challenges ahead. King Carl XVI Gustaf's daughter has stated that she aims to allocate all her energy to this training, preparing herself to serve Sweden's armed forces effectively in the future.
