"I have learned a lot about love" - Susan Sarandon on her daughter's new marriage
She learned "so much about love and partnership" at her daughter's wedding. Actress Susan Sarandon (77), who is now a proud grandmother to Susan Sarandon's (39) new husband, 40-year-old Chef Cook Ian Hock, shared a sweet message on her Instagram profile for her daughter and her newlywed husband. The couple got married in an intimate ceremony in New York on Saturday, June 29, in the presence of around 40 guests, according to "People" magazine.
"Thank you for the invitation to your life"
"I learned so much about love and partnership at my daughter Eva's wedding this weekend," gushes Sarandon next to a photo of the bride and groom. The Hollywood actress praises the love for detail in the ceremony and the thoughtful inclusion of Amurri's children - Marlowe (9), Major (7), and Mateo (4) - from a previous marriage. "We've heard what the two cherish about each other and how they hope to never take these qualities for granted. Their kindness, authenticity, and humor will be the foundation for their future." The Oscar winner concludes by thanking "the invitation to your life."
Susan Sarandon also has two younger sons with Tim Robbins (65), one of whom is actor Miles Robbins (32). In December 2009, Sarandon and Robbins announced their separation. Daughter Eva Amurri is also an actress and comes from a relationship with Italian director Franco Amurri (65). The wedding with Ian Hock is their second marriage. Eva Amurri was divorced from former soccer player and father of her children, Kyle Martino (43), in 2020.
