Struck with awe, Austin Butler found himself speechless upon meeting Ryan Gosling.
In a chat on "Today", the "Elvis" actor admitted feeling speechless upon encountering Gosling unexpectedly near a hotel he was staying at. Butler explained he had to quickly find another exit to avoid running into Gosling, as his longtime admiration for the star left him starstruck.
In response to Savannah Guthrie reminding him that he too is a celebrity, Butler humbly admitted, "I know, but that doesn't feel real."
Apparently, Gosling isn't just any celebrity Butler idolizes. He shared a tale with Jimmy Kimmel about an extravagant event hosted by Paul McCartney, where a conference of renowned stars was gathered.
According to Butler, the kind-hearted McCartney welcomed guests like Tom Hanks, Mick Jagger, Ringo Starr, Bruce Springsteen, and Taylor Swift. Butler expressed that such occasions, surrounded by such prodigious talent, left him struggling to comprehend the magnitude of the talents he shared space with.
