New series and films - Streaming compact
"What this week has in store for streaming.
"Game Night" (Netflix)
Game nights can quickly get out of hand. People discuss game rules or encounter bad losers meeting with sadistic winners. At Netflix, there's now a film for that. Jan accompanies his new girlfriend Pia to such an evening. In a villa in the exclusive Berlin Grunewald district, he finds himself among a group of people who could be described as eccentric with a clear conscience. In the midst of it all is also Pia's ex-boyfriend and almost-fiancé Matthias. Now things are about to get really strange. Since he considers himself significantly superior as a dentist, Matthias sets out to make bike shop owner Jan look foolish.
Janina Uhse ("Der Vorname") and Dennis Mojen ("60 Minutes") play Pia and Jan, who have to face the first crisis of their young love, watched suspiciously by Jan's friend Alex (Edin Hasanović). Anna Maria Mühe plays the laid-back hostess Karo, who is married to the fantasy fan Oliver (Axel Stein). Oliver is the one who invited the jealous Matthias (Stephan Luca). Also present are Taneshia Abt as the unhappily in love Sheila and Max Bretschneider as the shady Kurt.
