Strack-Zimmermann exhibits 200 individuals monthly.
Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, a prominent FDP politician, openly supports sending more weapons to Ukraine. As a result, she regularly faces hostility and has even taken steps to ensure her personal safety.
In an interview with Der Spiegel, the European candidate revealed that she reports "around 200 people a month" to the police due to the continued hostility towards her. These threats often involve violent language and even Nazi rhetoric.
According to Strack-Zimmermann, she encounters this hostility both online and through letters. It's been a daily occurrence since she started advocating for Ukraine to receive more arms. While the courts and the public prosecutor's office have taken notice, not all cases are treated the same. Some charges, such as calling her a "warmonger" or an "emetic," have had different outcomes in different local courts. In some cases, the charges were dropped in favor of a fine.
Strack-Zimmermann has been under personal protection since the start of her election campaign on January 6th. She now travels with several bodyguards as a precaution. This arrangement may seem unusual, but it's necessary given the ongoing threats she faces.
The FDP politician also revealed that she's become more cautious in the face of these threats. To protect her family, she rarely takes them with her in public and discourages photographers from capturing them.

In response to the threats she receives, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann frequently reports incidents to the Berlin Police due to the escalating nature of the hostility. Despite the ongoing threats, some court rulings have resulted in fines instead of charges, demonstrating the varying treatment of such cases.
