Stefan Raab's psycho-themed antics, which Regina Halmich covers.

Since it's been confirmed that she'll square off against Stefan Raab once more, ex-champ Regina Halmich has been putting in the work. She doesn't know the shape of her adversary, but he can't anticipate any kindness from the combat artist.

Halmich, now 47, has clashed with Raab before, and she's primed for their rerun in around a month, as she mentioned in an interview. The 57-year-old entertainer won't have it easy in his return to both TV and boxing. "There won't be any mercy this time," Halmich declared in the magazine "Gala," airing today at 5:45 PM on RTL and RTL+.

"I've been reborn," Halmich had already shared in June on "Antenne Bayern's Sunday breakfast show." "I met my mother recently, and she said, 'Regina, the flame is burning again,'" she recalled. However, she has no intentions to return to boxing permanently: "I have to hang up my gloves after September 14th. It's time to retire, because the desire to fight again is too strong, and that's tough right now."

Since the scheduled TV matchup in mid-September, Halmich has been training tirelessly. And she might need to, as she's been informed that Raab will also be in top shape. The former ProSieben all-around sensation, who practically retired from the scene almost a decade ago, is rumored to be working with various trainers.

"I haven't seen him live even once, and I think that's deliberate," Halmich explains. "Those are the mental games he's already playing. He won't reveal himself to me until we're both in the ring." Their third TV matchup, scheduled for September 14th in Düsseldorf, will be broadcast by RTL and RTL+. Elton, Raab's long-time partner, will host the event.

Halmich mentioned in her interview that she's clashing with Stefan Raab again, who she's faced before. Despite not knowing Raab's current form, Halmich is certain he won't show any mercy in their upcoming match.
