In fall 2023, Billy Ray Cyrus (62 years old) shared on Instagram about his wedding to his partner Firerose, promising them a "forever" together. However, it looks like their union may be unraveling as reports surface from American celebrity sites "TMZ" and "People," citing legal documents dated May. Apparently, Cyrus filed for divorce.
The cited documents reveal not just the common reason of "irreconcilable differences," but also claims of "inappropriate behavior in the marriage." Even more so, Cyrus is requesting the marriage be annulled due to alleged fraud. The details of the situation remain unclear, and no response has been received from the reps of both artists.
Recently, Firerose had posted on Instagram praising her husband. In April, she uploaded a picture with Billy, writing, "Six months ago, I married this man. Life isn't always easy, but it's surely made brighter with a best friend by your side."
Should this go ahead as a divorce, it'll be the third time Billy Ray ties the knot. He previously married Cindy Smith and Tish Cyrus. He's also a proud father to many children, including his famous daughter Miley Cyrus and pop star/actress Noah Cyrus (24), both from his second marriage.
