Jennifer Hudson - Sparkling eye-catcher at the Daytime Emmy Awards
Jennifer Hudson (42) brought a lot of glamor to the red carpet at the 50th Daytime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Friday evening. The singer mastered the flurry of flashbulbs in a golden, figure-hugging sequin dress with delicate spaghetti straps. She also wore beige, pointed suede pumps.
A sparkling silver necklace and matching dangle earrings and finger rings added extra glamor. She styled her shoulder-length hair in light waves. For her make-up, Hudson also opted for glittering eye shadow, black eyeliner and nude-colored lip gloss.
The 50th Daytime Emmy Awards
The Daytime Emmy Awards are presented every year. As a rule, the awards ceremony always takes place in May or June. Due to the Hollywood strike, the event was postponed to December this year. The television award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences honors the best TV shows on US television programs that are broadcast outside of prime time.
In addition to Jennifer Hudson, stars such as Sherri Shepherd (56) and Susan Lucci (76) were also included this year. Among others, the series "General Hospital" and "The Kelly Clarkson Show" were honored.
