Marc Terenzi about separation from Verena Kerth - Sometimes it is better to go
Verena Kerth (43) confirmed on Thursday (25th July) that she and singer Marc Terenzi (46) are no longer a couple. "Where there's smoke, there's fire. That's true. Marc and I had an unbearable time and have not been a couple for a longer period," wrote the moderator in a statement on her Instagram Story. She had kept quiet about the love affair for a long time, "because I needed some distance to sort myself out. The past few years have been a rollercoaster ride that demanded a lot psychologically from me." Marc Terenzi spoke to RTL about the situation.
"I don't want to say anything negative about my relationships or ex-partners, but: Yes, it's true - I separated from Verena about two months ago," the 46-year-old singer reveals. He did not go into detail about the reasons for the separation and only mentioned, "I'm in Magdeburg now and have been performing there." He added, "It's sometimes better to go and separate."

Terenzi took time for himself after the separation, as did his ex-partner Verena Kerth. He had to find himself again, "because I'm not the same person I was two years ago," says the singer. Now he looks forward and has exciting new projects ahead of him. Life has always had many things in store for him, and he is looking forward to it again. "I firmly believe that there is always a better way, no matter how hard life may be at the moment."
The moderator and the singer have been friends for over 20 years, but it was only later that things developed between them. After their Dschungelcamp elimination in 2023, Terenzi proposed to the Munich woman. A fake wedding in Las Vegas was followed by a real wedding this year.
After confirming their separation on Instagram, Marc Terenzi discussed the matter with RTL, stating, "I separated from Verena about two months ago." Despite the separation, Terenzi has been focusing on self-discovery and looking forward to new projects, believing that "there is always a better way, no matter how hard life may be at the moment." Despite their past romantic involvement, Terenzi and Verena Kerth have remained friends for over two decades.
