Snoop Dogg runs through Paris with a torch

American rapper Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., will carry the Olympic torch through Paris before the opening ceremony. Grandfather even better than children
For this job, the 52-year-old also makes a pause from his otherwise beloved family life. As he now explained to the US portal "Access Hollywood," this is particularly important to him. "Having children was the best experience I've ever had, but having grandchildren is even better," he said in the interview. As a grandfather, he can "make up for all the mistakes I made as a father."
His grandchildren - a total of twelve - call him "Papa Snoop," the "Drop it like it's hot" rapper explained. "Like 'Papa Smurf.'" The children made him a better person, as he wants to be better for the next generation through them, he said. Snoop Dogg has three sons and a daughter. His 24-year-old Cori Broadus suffered a severe stroke half a year ago, as she publicly announced in social media.
Snoop Dogg, known for his rapid-fire rhymes in the world of music, will not only be commentating on the Olympic Games 2024 in Paris for NBC but will also carry the Olympic torch through Paris and the suburb Saint-Denis. Proving his versatility in the entertainment industry, he will captivate viewers with his insights and Parisian landmarks.
While Snoop Dogg is widely known for his iconic music, the 'Drop it like it's hot' rapper also cherishes his role as a grandfather. He shares that having grandchildren has been an even more fulfilling experience than having his own children, and he strives to be better for the next generation through them.
