The destruction began with the demolition of a rest area on a highway, soon followed by mayhem in a trailer park, where locating missing individuals is ongoing. Tragically, young children were among the deceased. The sheriff's estimation suggests that additional casualties may be unearthed.
Many structures were flattened, trucks were effortlessly overturned, power lines were uprooted, and buildings transformed into rubble as per available accounts. Thousands of houses faced power outages, while highways were shut down. The emergency services and police were actively present in multiple locations. The forecasters at the national weather service communicated that the storms were predicted to infiltrate the central western USA in the daytime and ultimately move towards the Eastern coast.
