"A small skin lesion that began to develop"
Jonas, a member of Jonas Brothers, uploaded an Instagram video on June 11th, explaining the surgery. "Today, I'm having a skin cancer (basal cell carcinoma) removed from my head." He gestured towards a mole on his forehead, barely above his hairline. "Yes, that is indeed a tiny skin lesion that began to develop. So, now I need surgery to eliminate it, and we're getting started."
Post-operation, Jonas, father of two, displayed a bandage over the area. When snapping a pic for his audience, he used a surprised emoji to hide the wound. The surgery appeared to be brisk, as he was soon prepared to leave the clinic. "Okay, I'm done," he relayed in the car. "Now it's time for me to recover." He underscored the importance of checking one's moles once more: "People, kindly have your moles examined."
Jonas reinforced this plea with his video's caption: "Reminder: Get your moles checked."
