Since he came in first place in the ninth season of "Germany's Got Talent" in 2012, Swiss singer and songwriter Luca Hänni (29) has been a familiar face in the German TV landscape. After his triumph in the legendary RTL casting show, he appeared as a contestant in shows like "The Great German Baking Show" and "Let's Dance." In 2023, he won the eighth season of "The Masked Singer." Additionally, he was a prominent jury member in the last two seasons of the KiKA talent show "Your Song."

According to KiKa's announcement, Hänni will be part of a new moderating duo for "Your Song" starting next year.

As the report reveals, the filming for the 17th season of the songwriting competition began on July 24. Besides Luca Hänni, TikTok star and emerging moderator Jeannie Wagner (25) will lead the audience through the show. In the past 14 years, Johanna Klum (44) and Bürger Lars Dietrich (51) held this job, and they are now passing it on to younger colleagues.

On Instagram, Luca Hänni announced his new TV job a few days ago without mentioning the name of the show. He wrote: "What a beautiful Saturday, with the family at the lake. Next week, we're off to Germany for us. I'm excited about a fantastic project. For us as a family, it's also the first trip to Germany:)"

The new episodes of "Your Song" with Hänni and Jeannie Wagner are expected to air according to the broadcaster's announcements "in spring 2025."
