Sido celebrates Christmas with girlfriend and ex
Oliver and Amira Pocher or Peter and Iris Klein could take a leaf out of their book: Rapper Sido and presenter Charlotte Würdig have been separated for three years now. But they are apparently living the perfect patchwork - and are now even celebrating Christmas in illustrious company.
Charlotte Würdig and her two sons (7 and 10) are celebrating Christmas with Sido and his girlfriend Georgina Stumpf this year. The presenter and actress explains in an interview with the magazine "Gala". "Even some of Gia's family will be there," says the 45-year-old.
In the summer, Charlotte Würdig was already on vacation with her ex-husband Sido, whose real name is Paul Würdig, their children and the Twitch presenter. The experience of being a patchwork family was positive for everyone, she says. "The idea came from me," says Charlotte Würdig. "A separation is never nice, but for the children alone it's important to show that something cool can come out of it."
On Mallorca, the five of them lived in a house, went shopping, did things together and sometimes had a glass of wine in the evening. She and her children got on well with her ex-husband and father's new partner. Both women would now even laugh together about certain characteristics of Sido.
Charlotte Würdig took the initiative
She wrote to her ex-husband's new partner herself and asked if she wanted to come over, explains Charlotte Würdig. "If I had waited for him, Gia and I wouldn't know each other today. She was overjoyed. She wouldn't have dared to contact me," she explains. From her point of view, men would avoid things that seemed complicated. That's why she took the initiative herself.
Charlotte Würdig and Sido have not been a couple for three years. They were married for eight years until they separated in 2020. Their divorce was only finalized last year.
"Paul will always remain an important part of my life," says Charlotte Würdig, referring to her ex. The relationship between the two seems to remain intimate: "I'm furnishing his new house. Not for nothing, of course. I founded a company with a friend that offers everything from renovating to furnishing. So even out of a bad situation you can create something new," says Würdig in the "Gala" interview.
Despite being separated for three years, Sido and Charlotte Würdig continue to maintain a strong relationship, even celebrating holidays such as Christmas with their new partners and blended families. This year, they are invited to celebrate with celebrity couple Oliver and Amira Pocher or Peter and Iris Klein, who could learn a thing or two about co-parenting and patchwork families from their example.
Charlotte Würdig's decision to reach out to Sido's new partner, Georgina Stumpf, and invite her to spend time together on vacation has led to a positive and harmonious co-existence that extends beyond their children. This unique approach to celebrity relationships and blended families could serve as an inspiration for other renowned figures facing similar situations.
