With 10 lovestruck heart emojis and a cheerful "Happy Birthday Carinchen", Dieter Bohlen (70) celebrated his long-term companion Carina's 40th birthday on Friday morning. He shared a getaway snap on Instagram, depicting Carina in a radiant orange bikini enjoying the sun and sand. Grinning at the camera with her sunglasses and a ponytail, she was lounging on an orange sun mattress, surrounded by an orange towel and umbrella as well.
Partners for 18 years
Carina has been by Bohlen's side since 2006. They crossed paths in a club on Mallorca, where he was 51 and she was 21. Boasting a 30-year age difference, they formed an unbreakable duo. Over the years, they welcomed daughter Amelie in 2011, followed by son Maximilian in 2013.
Bohlen reminisced about their initial encounter, sharing a couple's photo on August 5th. He captioned it: "18 years ago, we crossed paths." It seems 14 heart emojis were too few, so he added an extra six for good measure.

Carina, a well-trained hotelier, keeps a low profile in the public eye. Yet, she frequently appeared on Bohlen's Instagram account. She shared that she managed his career covertly: "I handle his music publishing, I have nearly daily inquiries, coordinate all appointments, and scrutinize new advertising pleas... the list never ends."
"With 17 years under our belt, we're the ultimate love story in the cosmos. We've never had a disagreement," Bohlen spilled to "stern" earlier this year. "At home, one needs to be a peacemaker. I hadn't been one before, but now I often reflect: Is this worth a conflict? I'd rather just comply and maintain harmony. Previously, I'd tell my partners: 'If it irks you, take care of it yourself!'"
Carina's role in managing Dieter's career might sometimes feel overwhelming, but she prefers to keep their 'Other' private aspects of their relationship out of the public spotlight. Meanwhile, they continue to celebrate their unique bond, with Bohlen referring to their relationship as "the ultimate love story in the cosmos," which has endured without a single disagreement for 17 years.
