Rosario Dawson - She will be a grandmother next year

"Ahsoka" star Rosario Dawson (44) is preparing to become a grandmother soon. In an interview with "Page Six", the gossip portal of the "New York Post", she reveals that her daughter Isabella (21) is expecting her first child. The baby is due to be born next year.

The young grandma wants to be called "Glamma"

"It's very exciting," the actress enthuses in the interview and says that she would like her grandchild to be called "Glamma". Dawson adopted Isabella in 2014, when the girl was eleven years old. In an interview with Health Magazine in 2021, the actress said that she had not contacted an adoption agency or adoption center. She knew Isabella's birth mother and found out that the child had been placed in foster care. For her, there was no question of adopting Isabella. Motherhood was "the most incredible thing", she said in an interview with People in 2018. "Especially when you have a child at that age."

These insights into her private life are rare: Dawson keeps Isabella out of the public eye for the most part. The actress has only occasionally appeared on the red carpet with her daughter, occasionally posting a picture on Instagram.
