At an event, someone remarked how 'brave' it was of Coughlan to play Penelope. Some thought this could be a 'sneaky comment' meant for slimmer or conventionally attractive actresses. Fans of the show were smitten by the actress's reaction, describing her as an 'icon' or 'queen' on various platforms. The comment was, "You know, it's hard because I think women like us, with our bodies, aren't..." She didn't complete her sentence before the audience erupted in applause.
Proud of her 'perfect breasts'
Coughlan seemed content with her physique. She said, "I'm proud to be part of the 'perfect breasts' club. And I hope you all enjoy seeing them!" The actress also insisted on ensuring the explicit scenes made it to the big screen. She even added more of them to the script.
