Lindsay Lohan (38) celebrated a special milestone in her life: her son Luai turned one year old. On Instagram, the actress wrote excessively: "Happy Birthday, my Luai. You are 1! I love you more than anything else in this world. My son, my baby, my heart, my one and only. I love you forever and ever and beyond!"

She granted glimpses into her son's birthday party with pictures. A cake with a racecar-themed design in blue and black-and-white shows her son's name as well as a modeled car with the number one and checkered flags. Another photo shows birthday-appropriate cookies, suggesting they were also present at the party. In her Instagram Stories, she also revealed that numerous balloons and a white bouncy castle were in the garden for the celebration.

Mid-July of the previous year, a spokesperson for the actress confirmed that Lohan and her husband Bader Shammas (37) had welcomed their first child together. The spokesperson also shared with People magazine, among other things, the baby's name: "Lindsay Lohan and her husband, Bader Shammas, have welcomed a beautiful, healthy son named Luai into the world." The little family is "happy and in love." The name is reportedly Arabic and means "shield or protector." Luai was born in Dubai.

Not only privately, but also professionally, things are going well for Lohan. On Thursday (18. July), she was spotted at the set of "Freaky Friday 2" in Los Angeles alongside Co-Star Jamie Lee Curtis (65). The sequel to the cult film "Freaky Friday" is set to hit theaters in 2025. It's still unknown how the story with Psychotherapist Tess Coleman (Curtis) and daughter Anna (Lohan) progresses in the sequel. Lohan has only revealed that her role now includes being a mother to her own daughter and that she has taken guitar lessons for the second part. Actor Chad Michael Murray (42), who played the manipulative Jake in the first film, is also part of the cast for the second film.

The Instagram post celebrating Luai's birthday included an image of a cake with a racecar theme, Automatic references being the racecar design and the number one on the car. In the caption, Lindsay Lohan referred to her son as her "baby" and "one and only," showing her strong affection for him, marking Lindsay Lohan's Instagram as the platform where she publicly expressed her feelings on her son's Birthday.
