Maren Eggert - She and Peter Jordan are "not married"
Maren Eggert (50) and Peter Jordan (57) have been in a relationship for many years and have two children together. They recently moved from Hamburg to Berlin. They met each other in the theater in the 1990s. However, the two acting stars are not married, as Eggert clarified in an interview with the "Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung."
"That's just wrong. We're not married. That somehow still seems to be everywhere," says the actress to the "Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung."
"That's total ridiculous"
With this, Eggert also wanted to clarify her public portrayal: "I'm always described as controlled and cold in my roles. That's ridiculous in my opinion." Instead, she would describe herself as emotional and chaotic. "I'm also really messy. You might not have expected that. With the children, you need a certain order, but I'm actually quite chaotic."
Furthermore, the "Tatort" actress speaks about her wish to return to Hamburg, where she lived with Jordan for many years. "I have a strong homesickness for Hamburg," she says. "I also like living in Berlin, we've been here for a long time, but I keep thinking about moving back to Hamburg."
"Kein Wort" in the Cinema since July 4th
Since July 4th, Maren Eggert has been back on the cinema screen. In "Kein Wort," she plays the conductor and mother Nina Palčeck, whose son Lars (Jona Levin Nicolai) was injured in a mysterious accident at school. Most recently, Eggert acted in the film "Ich bin dein Mensch" in 2021. The actress is best known to many as police psychologist Frieda Jung from the Kiel "Tatort" films with Klaus Borowski (Axel Milberg, 67).
Despite being in a long-term relationship with Peter Jordan and having two children together, Maren Eggert and Jordan are not married, as Eggert clarified in an interview. This misconception seems to persist, with Eggert stating, "That's just wrong. We're not married."
The actress, known for her role as controlled and cold in her roles, sees this as a misrepresentation, stating, "That's ridiculous in my opinion." Instead, she describes herself as emotional and chaotic, adding, "I'm also really messy. You might not have expected that."
Their current residence is Berlin, where they moved from Hamburg in the 1990s, but Eggert expresses a strong desire to return to Hamburg, stating, "I have a strong homesickness for Hamburg." Despite her love for Hamburg, Eggert has recently been seen on the cinema screen in Berlin, starring in the film "Kein Wort" as the conductor and mother Nina Palčeck.
