Their joint film project "Deadpool & Wolverine" was what brought these two Hollywood actors to a premiere in London. But - "Sexiest Men" aside - honestly: On the red carpet, another "Star" ended up eclipsing them both. Her name: Peggy. And she also has a unique title to boast of, which was even bestowed upon her last year. Thus, the crossbreed of a mop and the Chinese Crested-Breed Dog is the "Ugliest British Bitch of the Year" 2023.
Peggy's body is hairless, with mop-like hair standing in all directions on her mops-like face. On her head, she sports messy, white hair. To top it off, she has an unusually long tongue that hangs out of her left mouth corner.
Peggy is Dogpool
As unassuming as Ryan Reynolds is, he still carried Peggy with him casually at the event in London. After all, the two share a special bond: Peggy is Deadpool's canine sidekick named Dogpool in "Deadpool & Wolverine."
On the red carpet, the duo didn't arrive in coordinating outfits. Reynolds opted for a casual, light blue suit over a white sweater instead.
The actor had introduced Dogpool alias Peggy back in November 2023, posting a photo of her in the costume next to X. He jokingly captioned the image, "Introducing Dogpool, the Plush Marketing Department's newest addition at Disney Nightmares."
In the comic books, Dogpool is also a loyal companion to Deadpool. She's not as unsightly as Peggy in the comics, but she's still quite a character. Dogpool is a Terrier in the comics. "Deadpool & Wolverine" is set to hit German cinemas on July 24, 2024.
