Selena Gomez is newly in love - and apparently very happy. She has now confirmed her relationship with music producer Benny Blanco on Instagram. Gomez commented on a black and white picture of the couple shared by a fan account with the words: "He is my absolute everything in my heart."
The US singer and actress then shared a joint selfie on her Instagram story as well as a photo of her hand. A small diamond ring with the letter "B" can be seen on her ring finger.
Some of the 31-year-old's fans don't seem too thrilled about the relationship. However, Gomez defends her new sweetheart in several Instagram comments. He is "the best thing that ever happened to me. The end", she writes, for example. And: "He's still better than anyone I've ever been with."
Love in the workplace
It is not known how long Gomez and Blanco have been together. Professionally, the singer and the producer have been together for a while. Most recently, the two worked together on her song "Single Soon", which was released in September. According to People magazine, Blanco was also at the party celebrating Gomez's 31st birthday in July.
Blanco is one of the most successful music producers in the USA. He has already worked with stars such as Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry and Britney Spears. Justin Bieber and The Weeknd - two of Gomez's ex-boyfriends - are also among his previous cooperation partners

However, Bieber has been married to model Hailey Baldwin since 2018, who took his surname during the marriage. In 2017, Gomez was in a relationship with The Weeknd for several months.
Gomez began her career as a star in Disney Group productions as a child. She became famous above all for her role in the series "The Wizards of Waverly Place" (2007 to 2012). Like many former Disney stars, she followed her acting career with a career as a singer.
