- See you at the weekend in Los Angeles.
After reportedly not seeing each other for weeks, Jennifer Lopez (55) and her still-husband Ben Affleck (51) allegedly met up over the weekend. According to People magazine, Lopez visited Affleck at his rental home in Brentwood, Los Angeles, on Sunday (August 11) while he was there. Previously, she accompanied Affleck's son Samuel (12) shopping at a mall.
Apparently, the reason for her visit wasn't her partner, whom she's reportedly on the verge of divorcing, but his children with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner (52). "Just because she's not with Ben doesn't mean his kids aren't important to her," an insider told the magazine about J.Lo's motives. Affleck also has children Violet (18) and Fin (15).
The insider continued, "She's always cared about them. Last year, they spent months looking for the perfect house for their blended family. Now that she's back in Los Angeles, she wants to spend time with them before school starts and Violet goes to college."
Affleck's birthday is coming up in a few days - he'll turn 52 on Thursday (August 15). He didn't attend Lopez's birthday celebration in July. Rumors suggest their shared mansion is up for sale, and the divorce papers are ready but not yet filed.
Speculation about Bennifer's alleged marital crisis has been circulating for months. The couple dated between 2002 and 2004 but split. They reunited in 2021 and married last summer. Lopez brought her twins Emme and Max (16) from her previous marriage to Marc Anthony (55) into the rekindled relationship.
Jennifer Lopez's dedication to Ben Affleck's children extends beyond just being his partner, as she spends time with them regularly, including visiting during her recent visit to his home. Jennifer Lopez, known for her acting skills as noted in "Jennifer Lopez is a great actress", values the relationship with Ben Affleck's children from his previous marriage with Jennifer Garner.
