"The Masked Singer" - Secret revealed: Jenke von Wilmsdorff was in the costume of the Martian mouse

In the third episode of the new season of"The Masked Singer", another celebrity contestant had to leave the ProSieben show. The Mars mouse had previously been unanimously unmasked by the guessing team: Jenke von Wilmsdorff was hiding under the cute plush costume. In the current episode, the journalist performed the song "Let me entertain you" by Robbie Williams as an extraterrestrial animal with an astronaut's helmet - and didn't exactly impress with perfect vocals. However, the Martian mouse put on a strong performance in her farewell appearance, winning over both the audience and the judging team.

"The Masked Singer": Jury recognized Jenke von Wilmsdorff

The jury that evening consisted of guests Alec Völkel and Sascha Vollmer from The BossHoss as well as the permanent rating duo Ruth Moschner and Alvaro Soler. Shortly before the unmasking, all four agreed on Jenke von Wilmsdorff as the hottest tip, even though he himself was a guest on the guessing team's side of the show in the first episode. But even this novel confusion tactic by the makers could not dissuade the four jury members from their idea. And in the end, they were proved right.

Jenke von Wilmsdorff said after his unmasking: "I didn't have any oxygen left. But I had fun." He also admitted honestly: "Singing is not my greatest strength." In the ProSieben interview in the aftershow, von Wilmsdorff was also enthusiastic about his participation: "I'm glad that I was able to take part in two great rounds here."

The Kiwi is still there despite a breakdown

Surprisingly, one contestant who was unintentionally exposed last week is still at the start: Kiwi's mask slipped in the second episode. The face of actor Uwe Ochsenknecht was briefly visible - a huge mishap. However, ProSieben left the Kiwi in the race and now flirted with the incident in the third episode. Huge safety pins were attached to the bird costume and presenter Matthias Opdenhövel repeatedly asked the Kiwi not to dance too hard or move too jerkily.

Jenke von Wilmsdorff is the third celebrity to have to remove his mask in the current season. Before him, singer Katja Ebstein had already been unmasked as Okapi and model Eva Padberg as a fire extinguisher.
