For the sick Princess, this will be the second public appearance within the past seven months. Her treatment is not yet completed and will still last several months. However, she hopes to attend some public engagements during the summer. The visit to the Gentlemen's Final at Wimbledon is now one of these engagements.
Last year, Kate sat in the royal box with her husband, Prince William, and their older children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, at the tennis tournament. It is unclear if she and her family will be present again. Prince William has already confirmed that he will attend the European Championship final on Sunday evening.
