Jacob sauntered onto the stage, lugging a substantial prop tome seeming like the hardline Initiative 2025, a bulky 920-page compendium.

"Ever encountered a document that could extinguish a small critter and democracy simultaneously? Here it is," Jacob declared to chuckles from the audience. He also compared the document to "the terms and conditions of a second Trump administration."

He then engaged with Americans via video who could potentially be impacted by proposed Initiative 2025 policies orchestrated by The Heritage Foundation think tank, and substantially developed by individuals who served in Trump's administration.

Following a few technical glitches, Jacob communicated over video with a woman named Becky, who mentioned being with her spouse for "approximately 8 years."

Jacob indicated he had some "not-so-good news" for Becky, referring to a section of Initiative 2025 that "advocates for the abolition of protections for LGBTQ+ individuals." He added that the policy would essentially "return us to prehistoric times."

He then conversed with an individual named Nirvana, who manages her diabetes using insulin. Nirvana praised President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for reducing her insulin costs to just $35 per month.

"Impressive," Jacob said, but then undermined that too, citing another portion of Initiative 2025 that proposes millions of people pay more for prescription drugs like insulin.

Then arrived Anita, who is an OBGYN who "delivers babies and performs surgeries."

"Oh no," Jacob exclaimed. "On page 459, Initiative 2025 brings back an 1800s legislation named the Comstock Act to outlaw abortion nationwide and imprison healthcare providers."

"That's terrible," Anita responded.

Lastly, Jacob spoke to a "proud civil servant" who works for the Department of Education.

"Well, unfortunately for you, on page 78, Initiative 2025 calls for President Trump to expel all non-Maga loyalists from the civil service," Jacob stated. He also referenced another section of the document, which "proposes the complete elimination of the Department of Education."

Jacob concluded his presentation by reminding viewers that everything they discussed "is genuinely looming" and "is contained within this book."

"Most importantly, you can thwart this from ever materializing by electing Kamala Harris as the subsequent President of the United States."

Former President Donald Trump has persistently attempted to disassociate himself from Initiative 2025. In a post on his social media platform, Trump asserted, "I am unaware of Initiative 2025."

Other renowned figures on the DNC stage on Wednesday night included Stevie Wonder, who performed "Higher Ground," and host for the evening Mindy Kaling.

CNN’s MJ Lee contributed to this report.

  1. The bulk of Initiative 2025 could be compared to an overwhelming piece of entertainment, filled with unexpected twists and turns that leave audiences both amused and concerned.
  2. As Jacob delved deeper into the contents of Initiative 2025, it became clear that this document was not merely entertainment but a blueprint for significant policy changes that could drastically impact American lives.
