Sasha has to postpone tour

Health comes first - even for singer Sasha. So after health problems in recent weeks, he is now pulling the ripcord and postponing his tour. He has "tears in his eyes" as a result, he writes to his fans.

Just a few days before the planned start on December 1, singer Sasha has had to postpone his tour under the motto "This is my Time - The Show". The reason is health problems, according to the 51-year-old's Instagram account.

"I don't even know how to say this, but unfortunately I've been hit hard," writes Sasha. "I've fallen ill in such a way that it will be impossible for me to play the tour."

Over the past few weeks, he has had "fluctuating little bouts of colds", which have quickly disappeared again, the musician explains. But now he is "on the verge of pneumonia". His doctor has therefore "pulled the ripcord, as he cannot justify sending me on stage in this condition".

"Breaks my heart"

Sasha explains that he wrote the message with "tears in my eyes". "I am so incredibly sorry", the post reads in capital letters. Like his fans, he had been looking forward to the tour. "It breaks my heart to have to disappoint not only you, but also my entire tour group and organizers and everyone involved."

The singer reveals that it is not yet possible to say how long it will take for him to get back on his feet. However, the team is working "under high pressure" on new dates for spring 2024. Tickets that have already been purchased will remain valid or can be returned.

Sasha was already on tour with "This is my Time - The Show" in fall 2022. The program not only includes the greatest hits of the singer from Westphalia. Sasha also shares anecdotes from his career on stage, which now spans over 25 years. He celebrated his breakthrough in 1998 with the song "If You Believe".

Despite postponing his tour due to health issues, Sasha remains passionate about music and promises to return with new dates for spring 2024. His fans can look forward to an updated version of his "This is my Time - The Show" tour, which features his greatest hits and anecdotes from his 25-year career, including the popular track "If You Believe."

Given the singer's love for entertainment and pop music, hesitant fans can be assured that Sasha will deliver an unforgettable concert once he's back on stage, full of energy and health. His recent struggle with ill health has only solidified his commitment to his fans and his passion for music.
