Exes from Oliver Pocher - Sandy Meyer-Wölden comments on Amira Pocher's new relationship
Family Pocher is the epitome of a patchwork family in German media. Comedian Oliver Pocher looks back on two failed marriages and five children of his own, in addition to two more children of his first wife with another man. However, there seems to be no end to this tangled family tree, as now his second wife, Amira Pocher, has officially announced a new partner.
Amira and Oliver Pocher separated in 2023 with a sensational rose war. Pocher relentlessly vented on social media about a supposed new lover of Amira Pocher, the self-help guru Biyon Kattilathu. But then it went quiet. A few months ago, pictures from a South Africa vacation circulated through the internet, showing Amira Pocher with the moderator Christian Düren. Now, the couple has officially confirmed their relationship. They made their first public appearance as a couple at the Berlin Fashion Week last week.
Amira Pocher's new love should not be in the way of the patchwork harmony
And Oliver Pocher? He is still silent about his wife's new relationship – the divorce is ongoing. Not so his first wife, Sandy Meyer-Wölden. She spoke to "Bild" newspaper about the new relationship of Amira and said: "I'm happy for Amira. Everyone deserves to be happy. And they both seem to be." Their goal is to continue as a patchwork family, as it was before the separation of Amira and Olli, which was on the brink of collapse during the rose war last year. "Since a lot of time has passed and peace has returned, I am still actively working towards us achieving the same level of harmony as a patchwork family that we had before the separation from Amira and Olli. Namely, a harmonious family life."
Sandy herself had another two children after her separation from Oliver Pocher, whom she was with from 2010 to 2014. These children are also part of the patchwork family, which is why one speaks of three marriages and seven children with the Pochers so far. But it could also be that there will be more. Amira Pocher recently revealed in her podcast "Love Life" that she had stopped taking the pill "for the sake of her body," but she also added that family planning with her may not be completely settled: "I'm still young, it could still happen two- to three-times."

Amira Pocher's new partner, Christian Düren, is a moderator who was seen with her on a South Africa vacation. Despite Oliver Pocher's ongoing divorce and silence on the matter, Sandy Meyer-Wölden, his first wife, expresses happiness for Amira's new relationship, stating, "Everyone deserves to be happy." The goal is to maintain the patchwork family harmony they had before the separation, with Sandy continuing to work towards reconciliation. Following their separation in 2014, Sandy had two more children who are also part of the Pocher's patchwork family. Amira recently mentioned in her podcast that she has stopped taking birth control pills, leaving open the possibility of future family additions.
